Over at The Corner, Andy McCarthy (a great follow, by the way) wonders:
"…if the D.C. Circuit rejects Trump’s claim of immunity from prosecution for official acts, would anything prevent the next Republican Justice Department from subjecting Biden, and every Biden official who was involved in the decision to restart UNRWA funding, to the stigma and financial ruin of criminal investigation? Is there anything that would prevent those officials from being indicted for material support of terrorism?"
I would argue that there is: the Federal bureaucracy (i.e. the people whose hands actually work the levers of power) is overwhelmingly Democrat, and this bias is intrinsic, not accidental. Have we already forgotten "the resistance"?
