ESG Is Now a Dirty Word

The WSJ reports today that "ESG" is "The Latest Dirty Word in Corporate America". ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance and is the latest scheme among our elites to smuggle policy making in by means other than the political process (which they find terribly frustrating). Fear not, they have not reconsidered the wisdom of doing so, or the risks of governance by a small group of oligarchs whose expertise lies elsewhere. They've merely learned not to let the public know what they're doing: "Most companies are moving forward operationally with their ESG programs, but not publicly touting them, or describing them in different ways" – awesome.

Update: The WSJ reports "An ESG Asset Manager Exodus"
